Tracey Russell is the Executive Director of the Atlanta Track Club. She serves as the Race Director for the AJC Peachtree Road Race – the world’s largest 10k – and the Atlanta Half Marathon. Tracey oversees a hard working staff of 13 and an ever expanding membership base of more than 10,000 members positioning the ATC as the second largest running organization in the country.
Tracey was awarded the 2010 Women’s Running Magazine Trailblazer Award, honoring a woman who has been a leader and pioneer in the sport and has served the sport with distinction.
Tracey was formerly a High School All-American swimmer and participated at Olympic Trials. She caught the running bug in 2000 after two years of organizing races in Richmond, VA. She’s run a marathon, numerous halfs, 5ks and 10ks. Today, running is a mainstay on her workout schedule.
