Kristin Ballard is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia and a member of the Atlanta Track Club’s Women on the Move 5K training program. A former gymnast and basketball player, Kristin’s adventures in running began in July 2010 when she completed her first race—the Peachtree Road Race 10K. After falling in love with the euphoria of crossing a finish line, Kristin joined Women on the Move to improve her running technique, increase her speed and ultimately become a bona fide runner. She hopes to run a half-marathon before she turns 23. When she’s not hitting the pavement, Kristin can be found at her day job as a public relations account executive at a boutique PR agency in North Atlanta.

Countdown to Race Day!

March 22nd, 2011 | By Kristin | In Training Diaries

I can’t believe it’s the last week of Women on the Move- I’m really going to miss these Tuesday night runs- but I look forward to seeing everyone at the event on Saturday!
