The Hills to VaHi

The past few weekends some of the local running groups collaborated to organize a group run known as the “Peachtree Dry Run”. The concept was pretty straightforward; it simply involved running the Peachtree Road Race course.

Instead of highlighting routes around Piedmont Park like I have been, I’m going to focus on the surrounding areas of the Spring Has Sprung 8K & 15K course. In fact, there’s so much to cover that I will only be able to talk about bits and pieces of the surrounding areas for this post!
For this route, we’ll be taking it to the outside of Piedmont Park and around its perimeter. This is one of the routes the running group at Phidippides takes during its weekly runs (6:15pm on Thursdays). The route starts and ends at Ansley Mall, running the perimeter of Piedmont Park.
