The Atlanta Track Club’s (ATC) competitive teams travel to Charlotte, N.C. this weekend for the USATF Club Cross Country National Championships. The ATC will field teams in all divisions, including both the men’s and women’s open, Men’s 40-49, 50-59 & 60+ and Women’s 40-49 & 50+.

The longest running tradition of the Atlanta Track Club, honoring high school cross country runners in the Atlanta metropolitan area, announced the 2010 ATC all-metro team today at it’s annual banquet at Westminster Schools. On the awards listing along with the all-metro selections are the male & female runners of the year awards, the ATC’s coaches dedication awards, recognition to metro coaches, the teams that won state championships in 2010 and the induction of new members into the Georgia Cross Country & Track & Field Coaches Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to all the Georgia runners at the 2010 Footlocker South Cross Country Regional Champsionships. The Atlanta Track Club annually sponsors a select number of high school cross country athletes to compete in the Footlocker South regional meet held in Charlotte, North Carolina’s McAlpine Park.
